| Brut Millésimé
99 If a harvest is typical enough to be magnified, the elaborator realizes a blending of the wines of a same year. The CHAMPAGNE MILLÉSIMÉ (Vintage Champagne) thus remains a wine which will be specially and typically branded by its year. |
|
| Rosé Brut The "CHAMPAGNE ROSÉ" is obtained by blending
white and red wines which are entitled the name "Champagne". In the Champagne
area, the wines are assembled and blended before they "work", in the bottle.
They are not bubbly yet and are called "still wines". The "CHAMPAGNE ROSÉ"
is just as good with an aperitif as it is with a desert. As it is more
fruity and rounder, it fits meat or cheese just as well during "all-champagne"
meals. |
|
| Prestige Brut
Beside "classical blendings", the vine-grower who is in love with his craft, enjoys imagining special and particular "cuvées" (or growth). It can be compared to the designer's "Bride's Gown" of the collection, the "quintessential style". The blending then and thus becomes a very personal choice : at the DUMENIL House, in the "BRUT PRESTIGE", for example, the WHITE CHARDONNAY is largely dominant over the "pinot noir" and the "PINOT MEUNIER". |

| Demi-Sec 1er
Cru It is an "equal" wine, a wine whose taste does not change with the year. Every year, a part of the harvest is set apart in order to take part in the future "assemblage" (or blending). These are these "reserve" wines which allow the person who elaborates the champagne to perpetuate the taste and style of the House Name. |
